Flackley Ash Country House Hotel

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (627)
"Lovely place, **very** friendly and professional staff and spotless rooms. The restaurant staff were top-notch, and on the night the food was excellent. I have not stopped talking to my friends about the chicken liver pate I had, that was superb. Breakfast was also extremely well cooked and presented, and to top it all up, the prices were reasonable. The free pool/spa/gym was the icing on the cake. My wife and I would certainly recommend it, and we will happily visit again. "

"Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which...

"The host was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome, very attentive and chatty without being intrusive. Also knew his stuff and the local area. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. The menu was a good mix of traditional with creative. We ate there both nights. The room was modest but stylish, clean and comfy and quiet given there was a bar downstairs. The atmosphere was warm with a nice mix of locals and guests. You didn't feel...
