Due to market set up each morning (clanging of metal booths), be aware if you are seeking a place a to sleep late - or have ear plugs. I would very much stay here again!"

"We booked an overnight stay to coincide with our arrival from Johannesburg Lanseria airport and our departure to London Gatwick. What looked like a short walk from the airport to the hotel turned out to necessitate a taxi. Lack of planning on my part. I should have investigated the availability of a shuttle service provided by the hotel. I was made aware of the shuttle service on arrival at the hotel but I had already booked my return journey to the airport. I am not sure if the shuttle was complementary or not but I would recommend asking about the shuttle as airport taxi providers hold all the cards if you have not pre-booked."

"Front desk staff were fantastic- welcoming and helpful providing early access to the room. The hotel is less than 10 years old, the room was very clean, comfortable and offered great amenities.. The bed, linens and pillows in particular, were very comfortable . The location is fantastic- in a very safe area with access to many restaurants, shops, areas of interest and within easy walking distance of both the Robben Island ferry as well as the cruise terminal. Would definitely stay here again."
