"We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet had lots of delicious options, check-in was quick, luggage storage felt very safe, our rooms were well-appointed and the floors were quiet. The only negative would be the torn pleather headboards on the bed. Looks like a cat got a hold of them. For such a nice looking hotel, they should be tended to. "

The only reason for my low staff is frankly slightly unfair - we booked a hotel and asked for a rollaway bed - no one could find one and they delivered a plain mattress at midnight - no pillows, bedsheets etc. as the housekeeping team was gone. I have no issues, but they could have communicated that earlier. Otherwise, superb hotel, great facilities, very courteous and pleasant staff, definitely my go-to hotel at Schipol now."

"If you don’t want your room cleaned everyday you can hang a notice on the door. You get 2 vouchers each night you do this for a free drink. Hotel ideal for cyclist. Only 10min cycle ride to beach. Lots of cycle parking, locked area for e-bikes with charging points and lots of bikes for hire. Plenty of parking Very friendly helpful staff. "

"The room size was great, very spacious. However there was no air conditioning, so at night the room was boiling. You couldn’t leave the window open due to the noise outside. The service was ok, but on a number of occasions, the receptionist was not at the desk, so you had to hang around and wait. Not sure if we will return. "
