"Arrived at the hotel to find we couldn't get in. No instructions emailed to us. Went online and found previous reviews and comments that said to go to no.92 to get code to unlock door. No-one knew anything at no.92 and a guy who worked in the shop next door said that there had been problems recently. Tried calling hotels.com and the owner direct. No response. Emailed them. "We were leaving on a cruise the next day so the location was ideal as it was a short tram ride away from the cruise port. It was also within easy walking distance of the food market as well as a shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

When we first arrived we were a little dubious about what the hotel would be like due to the area that it’s in. We didn’t feel unsafe but it was full of interesting characters. "Buyer beware! We had a disasterous experience with this property. Had a 5 night booking (made 2 months in advance) but night of arrival got to property only to find someone else occupying it. Neither we nor Expedia could reach the proprietor despite leaving several voicemails and emails. Neighbors said this happens a lot with this property and they help a lot of stranded travelers.
