"Beautiful property and hotel, lobby and bar are very nice and the staff showed exceptional service. Half of the hotel has just gone under renovations, and we decided to pick a lake view room with a balcony, unfortunately this side of the hotel was not renovated and the room we were put it has a very large water bubble with some possible moulding that continued down the curtains. With a quick phone call they allowed us to move, still to an in renovated room, which was completely fine, but focusing on making sure there was no water damage or mould in the room. A very kind hotel employee came to offer looking at multiple rooms, but the first one he showed us was a great substitution. I would just suggest inspection your rooms for mould and not offering these anymore until the renovations are complete as it’s unsafe and unsanitary especially at the cost of one night. "Very nice and fairly priced hotel close to restaurants, shops and various activities to do in the area. Keep in mind there might be a sulfur smell in the air that is due to thermal activity in Rotorua. Other than that it’s a very nice experience. "
