"I waited to gather my thoughts on this. I too am an Innkeeper and wanted to be fair. I communicated all my concerns but the property was very rigid and not willing to compromise to make me happy. I reserved based on reviews of which there were only 4. This should have been a warning. The property is a very beautiful restored castle. The room was exceptional, clean and very unique. "Overall the hotel was ok. Unfortunately the loud noise and doors banging from some guests (sport team or similar) which lasted until around 12am didn’t bother any of the hotel’s employee but we couldn’t sleep until 12am. And the sport team woke up around 5am which made us wake up the same time. The ventilation in the room we stayed in was off and the luck of fresh air made us open the window over night. The room was clean and modern, towels were clean but with a strong smell of vinegar....

"Posto stupendo con vista panoramica su colline e vigne, Emanuela e tutto lo staff gentili e disponibili nel venire incontro ad ogni necessità. Piscina anche se non grandissima comunque altamente fruibile e tranquilla (a perte le nostre figlie!).Colazione ottima e ristorante con menù fisso dall'eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. "From arrival to departure, our stay was authentic and wonderful. Our host treated us to aperitifs upon arrival, followed by a delicious multi course meal featuring their farmed saffron. It was wonderful! Perfect addition to our honeymoon! "

"Beautiful hotel. A little far from the historic center but if you like to walk, you can walk for about 1 hour alongside the river in a beautiful park that the hotel has access to and get straight to the city center. Its great to burn the extra calories! We really liked it."

"I entered Damian hotel in troffalero italy The hotel is very very dark The rooms are very very dark I was not asked to register My car was parked on site with a big metal gate controlled only by the owner I was therefore Unable to leave at 4 am as planned as my car was locked behind the gate I decided to forfeit my booking and leave before using the room Despite a request for a refund I had to pay for the night in full This is not a hotel it's a joke Please never stay at hotel Damian "

"The Brindor is welcoming, friendly and very comfortable. The staff are efficient and caring. The food in The Andrea restaurant is delicious and there is a very good wine selection. We were very sorry to have to leave and go home!"

"One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Wonderfully helpful and available staff. Large comfortable lobby with food service were you could meet your friends. Attention to detail in the room design make it very comfortable. Great accessibility for the disabled within the hotel and the adjacent beautiful areas. Excellent room service and cleaning. A large breakfast buffet includes veggies and salad in addition to proteins, desserts, etc. It was easy for us to go to the train station and travel with the Italian great service for disabled."
