"Lovely two night stay. Charming rooms which were dog friendly, additional charge applied. Large freestanding bath and separate rainfall shower. Tuck shop with fab goodies free of charge. "Very friendly helpful staff and instructions before arrival and during my stay. Clean and tidy room. Walls not sound proof so spent the night listening to a neighbour snoring unfortunately but very comfortable bed. Carpet was vacuumed but could do with a shampoo. Excellent breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities and nice toiletries. Thank you. "

"Would definitely recommend and stay again. Plenty of parking, decent sized rooms with everything we needed. Restocked every day (tea, coffee, toiletries), which was very nice. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice, freshly cooked to our timeslot. Hosts remembered what we asked for and we could change bits if we wanted. Room had everything we needed. "A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. "Jorvik House was really nice. The room and bathroom were very clean and in good condition. Warm welcome at reception and overall very nice place to stay for a few days. My only complaint would be that it would have been nice to have things like milk, tea, loo roll, etc replenished when empty, rather than on request. "

"Liked the property, very handy location for everything we wanted to do during our trip. Complimentary breakfast had great options, hot and cold, the winner for our son was the waffle machine! Staff at reception could have been a bit more friendly but service was fine, staff at breakfast were lovely. Room was fine but a little cramped for 3 of us with limited storage for luggage/ belongings. Very clean though and beds were comfortable. "
