"Located right in the heart of Myeongdong, my family and I had incredible experience staying in this hotel. The only suggestion for improvement is that they should probably include information on the availability of coin operated laundry service at the 6th floor. We were not aware of its existence at all until the last morning of our stay."

"You can smell somone smoking in the room. This place is a non smoking hotel however there's a huge chance guests are ignoring the rule. Stayed for approx 4 days but half the days we smelled heavy smoke. Overall, bathroom was great, cleaniness was great, front staff were friendly, and great location. "

"Convenient location near airport bus stop and subway exit 9. Grateful that staff allowed early check in as my elderly mum is tired from the red eye flight. Good service as staff take note of my request and make appropriate arrangement. It will be good if there are more choices of hot beverage. Also creamer is not provided for those who don’t like black coffee. Water from shower leaked into bathroom."

"Had a last minute layover in Seoul and most of the hotels were fully booked. Travelodge Dongdaemun is a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of Dongdaemun and a 10-minute walk to Gwangjang Market. If you take transit, it’s a few bus stops or few subway stations away from Myeongdong. Airport limousine bus 6001 has a stop across the street at Baiton Hotel. The staff here are very helpful. "Second time staying at this hotel. Staff are friendly as I remembered. Easy and quick check-in. Convenient location to subway and safe walking distance to Myeongdong and surroundings (incl. Gwangjang market, DDP and beyond). The convenient store in the hotel is great for late night snacks run. There is laundry facility and storage lockers in the lower ground /basement floor. There is also a scale in the lobby for you to weigh your luggage. Plenty of coffee places outside the hotel to get your breakfast in the morning. Room is bright, clean and comfortable. Bathroom and towels are clean. Bottled water is provided daily. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul! "
