"The hotel is in historic downtown Shreveport. Its walking distance to a couple bars and restaurants. Valet parking is available, and street parking is free on the weekends. The rooms were nice and roomy and clean. I like that they have a small "store" in the hotel lobby to purchase drinks and snacks and items you may have forgotten. The check-in staff were kind and helpful. We also got a massage in the spa, and it was wonderful! "

"The property itself is amazing check in was smooth and easy. My issues arise with the suite we stayed in. The cups were filthy and still had food in and on them. My remote did not have batteries I went to the front desk to ask. I was told maintenance would bring them up but make sure I do not have the dnd sign up and this was 5 mins after checking in. "It's very old. It needs a lot of maintenance. I did like how the room was set up. I thought it had a unique layout. It just needs a lot of TLC and a little (lot) updating. Everything worked, but looked run down and it looked like someone may have even been doing repairs on the room we stayed in and just didnt finish the work. Also, there was blue painters tape in quite a few places, but looked to be holding things together not like they were about to start painting."
