"I wasn’t expecting much from this property but was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, food options were great. Our room had a peek a boo view of the ocean. Those that say this place isn’t on the water probably got put in building 4. I would definitely go back."

"Great spot for the price. Was a little frustrating with how difficult it was to book a la carts restaurants after being told you would have access to all 3 Decameron properties in Guayabitos. But it was otherwise as advertised, clean, friendly, and great for the price. Definitely helps if you speak Spanish - it is a very local destination (what we wanted) vs international guests. Felt authentic and also still very inviting "

"We enjoyed the accessibility to the beach, the kind staff doing the best they could with what they had. The facility is run down with broken trim and holes around windows. Got a lizard in our room one night!! It needs a lot of work/updating and this appears to be identified by a banner at the front advertising Sales with a Condo Complex coming soon. It will be sad to see this quaint Hotel torn down. It was probably gorgeous in the past and up-to-date."
