"We stayed in villa 9 which is a nice sized studio. It has a very nice, well equipped kitchen and a very good sized bathroom and shower. Very nicely decorated. No elevator so be prepared to climb stairs but who doesn’t need a little exercise every day. It had great views of the ocean from the room and blackout curtains for that early morning sun and the rooftop is very nice with gorgeous views as well. There’s a pool on the ground level which my husband enjoyed and it’s just a short few blocks...

"The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place."

"This is good property with walking distance to beach. However, It is not ideal for people with disabilities as you have to take a few steps to the first floor and then walk down a street that is relatively steep. They were great with communication. If you need to purchase grocery just ask staff and they will assist. Restaurants were located about 10 minutes away. "

"We had a lovely stay complicated by a day without water Not the fault of the hotel but a pretty big inconvenience considering we spent our last day on a boat and did not come home till late to NOT have a shower or toilet to come home to or wake up to on our last day was difficult !!! The owner communicated as best they could, but it did dampen our stay. The room and the building were lovely ! Clean and tasteful and super convenient I would totally recommend and love the unit but hauling...

"The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed at for 5 days was spacious with a big kitchen, fully equipped with a microwave, oven, coffee maker, dishes. It also had 2 large terraces for lounging and entertaining and a huge king sized bed in each bedroom with its own full shower and a washer/dryer. Everything you could ask for plus a living room and kitchen table. We loved it. We stayed at "Casa Mini""

"Beautiful building with a great pool and wonderful views. The beach is totally rocky and impossible to pass unless the tide is out. The lack of sidewalks makes it almost impossible to walk anywhere. However, it is very easy and affordable to take buses anywhere. The suite we rented for the month needed new beds as they are memory foam and are worn out. "We loved the hotel so much we booked 12 more nights directly with the property. Our bed was super comfy and our room walked right out onto the pool. Hotel staff were more than accommodating with all of our requests, including a coffee maker with cups, wine glasses, and extra towels when our friends came to visit and enjoy the pool. Several of the girls had excellent English and when my Spanish didn’t suffice, the ones who didn’t speak English were wonderful with Google Translate. Housekeeping made awesome little animals out of our towels, complete with stick on eyes, and this charming extra effort really enhanced our experience. 10/10 would stay again!!"

"Although this bungalow is set up for short stays, we were there for 3 weeks. Beautiful Guayabitos beach is accessible across the street. It is situated between Guayabitos Centro and La Penita with a short walk to each. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and had the basic necessities. The hosts , Enrique and family were super accommodating and a pleasure to meet. We would definitely return. "

Great place for a short term stay.

"Great little place ( 6 suites ) in the middle of town close to everything. Was very quiet, clean and comfortable. All rooms were booked with friendly Canadians. We stayed just for 2 nights while checking out Guyabitos. Kitchen was well equipped. Door to the place was hard to find as it was almost covered up with stores beside overflowing stuff… "

"Our rooms were not ready when we arrived. Room 1 the shower was slow draining & we had no handle on our hot water nozzle. We were told to use our fingers to turn it on & off. One of the pillow cases looked like it had puss stains on it, so gross. Room 2 had had cigarette holes through the sheets & covering. Both bathrooms toilets looked like they had urine in them, but it was the color of the water. DO NOT recommend this location. "
