"This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem. I arrived 15 minutes after the receptionist was supposed to leave but she waited for me. They've gone to a lot of effort to reflect the character of the old city. I was only there one night but will make sure I return as it was beautiful. Don't expect an elevator as it's an old building. "

Always there, it seemed, and he also gave an excellent talk about the Roman baths underneath the hotel. Whatever I asked of him, he always went the extra yard. Any criticism?
