"This hotel was very, very nice. Definitely upscale but historical. The room was so nice and the very clean. This is my favorite hotel we stayed in while we were traveling in Germany. One plus was you can park right in front. Parking was a big issue at a lot of hotels in Germany. The restaurant was fantastic. Some of the best German food I had in Germany."

"The Rangof is actually in the village of Elpersdorf about 5 minutes drive from Ansbach proper. It is so nice and peaceful, very relaxing. It was quite warm while we were there and there is no air condition. No ice machine. No elevator/lift if you have limited mobility. Aside from that, the restaurant serves up some tasty traditional German food and beer. Outdoor cafe style dining was also a plus with the exceptional weather. Lack of amenities aside it is a wonderful place to stay and de-stress"

They have outdoor and underground parking, but you will first have to check in and let the person at reception know that you want to park. "This historic hotel is truly one of a kind! It’s the oldest in the area and has been beautifully renovated. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in the charming and spacious attic suite, and we absolutely loved it! We loved this hotel so much that we even bought a miniature clay building of it as a souvenir. We highly recommend this hotel, and when we get the chance to visit the area again, we will definitely stay here once more!"

"The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented!
