We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sonne. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the beautiful town. The hotel has parking in a separate but close location. The hotel owners are very nice, and went out of their way to assist us when some of the streets were closed and detoured because of Christmas markets. Beautiful location and nice breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

I loved my stay. The staff was so incredibly kind and so good at creating a welcoming environment: My little solo room was absolutely adorable, great space. Perfect for one person. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was on point, absolutely delicious. What a great place to stay. Great location in relation to all the tourist spots too.

If you are planning a visit to this beautiful village and want to stay in the old town, I highly recommend Hotel Sonne. We plan on returning in the summer and will book this gem again. This sweet hotel is centrally located in the old town of Rothenburg, close to everything anyone would need. The best part is that it is owned and run by a lovely family (husband, wife & adult daughter), who treated us like family. I would highly recommend staying here!
