"Amazing as always! Lovely drink of fizz on arrival, stunning hotel and location. We had a hot tub room which was lovely. We were lucky enough to get a couples full body massage whilst there and use the spa facilities. Food is amazing and we left feeling very well refreshed and happy. We can’t wait to return soon "

"We had a really lovely stay for 2 nights at Rothay Garden. We booked dinner on the first night which was high quality. The views over the garden from the restaurant were really relaxing. We booked a luxury room which was really clean and spacious and had a terrace."

"Perfect place to switch off. The food was excellent, not a huge menu to choose from but there was something for everyone. Prices seemed high at first glance, but I can assure you that you definitely get what you pay for. really good. The homemade sourdough bread!!!! amazing, would return just for that. (honestly it is something else) The staff really make this place wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The room was really nice, really clean and comfortable. The SPA, this was really wonderful, the treatments were exceptional, and the facilities were amazing. Location was great, we walked into Ambleside on the opposite side of the lake and caught the bus back (559) to the hotel after some shopping and a shandy. "

"Excellent property, fabulous breakfast in great location. Clean modern rooms. Off road parking. About 15 mins walk into town down quiet lane. A bit uphill on way back. No bar at hotel but there is a fridge in lounge for your own drinks should you need to. Nice friendly staff. Great place to stay…."

"Easy check in - Friendly staff -Superior room was large with view over the lake and came with table and 2 chairs as well as the usual dressing table ,wardrobe etc. Room servicing - cleaning etc was by request only but did not find this a problem Overall a pleasant experience"
