"The castle itself was unavailable to tour, but it was a stunning piece of architecture and added so much to the ambience of the property. We stayed in a lovely stone cottage, called "Rose Cottage", which was one of several attached to each other. Very quaint. The golf course was beautiful as well."

"Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus."

"Easy to find, and convient to get to the airport for a morning flight. Nice standard hotel with a parking area in the front courtyard. The hotel has a great dinning room, bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was very nice. There was a buffet of juice, toast, and cereal items, and then additionally we ordered off a menu too. It was very convient to have a quick breakfast before our drive to the airport. Also we walked around the town and saw the castle lit up...

"This property is magical! From the moment we drove up, we were in awe! We love the property’s Hailey and everything it has to offer. My husband and I had dinner at Preston’s and WOOOOOW!!!!! The steak was by far the best I’ve ever had, and I am a foodie! Everything was cooked to perfection! We also went to the spa, and it was the best and much needed r&r my husband and I could ask for! I can’t wait for us to return."

"We booked this property last minute. From the moment we arrived and met Deirdre, I had a feeling we were going to enjoy our stay. Deirdre is very warm and welcoming. We stayed in Applewood cottage. It is a beautifully appointed cottage, I couldn't fault it in anyway. It was clean, beautifully decorated and with a very comfortable bed. We talk some time to walk the grounds of the property, it was lovely to be in a rural setting. I highly recommend this property as place to stay. Looking forward...

"Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. "I think this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. It has a lot of promise - tucked quietly away in a remote corner of a small town off the beaten path. But I could hardly get anyone to check me in and I had to come stand by the front desk to get ANY wi-fi at all. The lady at the desk agreed that the wi-fi could be "a little dodgy" ... that's an understatement! In 2015 there is no excuse to not have solid wi-fi connectivity throughout a small hotel area like this one. After the parties ended...
