"It’s so beautiful! The trees are amazing. Birds everywhere and Llamas roam the grounds. The food is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly. Carlos is a great waiter and super friendly. They pick you up from the airport and will take you back. Luggage storage too! "

"The staff were attentive, polite and accommodating. When I had a problem with my credit card in Canada, they ensured I could call them without incurring any long distance charges when the collect call was not working. The restaurants were great to eat at and we really enjoyed a massage at the spa after many days of hiking. One suggestion is that you become a Marriott member to get free internet as rooms booked through Expedia often don't include complementary access. Again another example of the great service, when I realised the Internet was not free, they arranged to get me signed up as a member and then reversed out the changes. Many hotels I have stayed at need to spend some time here to understand what great customer service looks like. Needless to say, the rooms were very clean, very comfortable and the overall environment was great. They represented real value for money and I will be sure to stay here when we return again."

"We stayed at Rincón de Puembo on our way to the Galápagos and again when we returned. I highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing (have the cold shrimp in a chilled soup), and the service is outstanding. We ate at both restaurants but El Grill with outdoor seating was my favorite. The rooms are nicely done. The woman that checked us in Monday Jan 21 around 7:30pm was so very helpful and she was there to help us again when we returned on the 29th. She made sure there was a van to pick us up in Quito, another to take us to airport the next morning for the islands, another when we returned from the Galápagos and once again when we left to go back to the airport in Quito. Everything went as planned. If I'm lucky enough to return, I will stay at Hotel Rincón de Puembo. "
