"Cute room in a converted turn-of-the-century home. The owner is sweet and staff are on hand to make breakfast for you between 6:30 and 9:00 am (you just need to tell them when you will be awake). "Our stay was great! The couple running the hotel is amazing! They had breakfast ready for us a little earlier, they were always smiling in the mornings, and welcomed us back each night. We stayed three nights and would definitely stay again. They gave us restaurant recommendations due to many being closed for the holiday. He also scheduled a car early in the morning to the airport for us. "

The staff pampered my family and introduced us to Ecuadorian new year traditions on the rooftop terrace with the other guests that was a memorable and unexpected way to ring in the new year. "Failed to show up for airport transfer to property. We got a taxi that got lost then was unable to climb the mountain due to their road conditions. We had to climb the mountain by foot to attempt to check in but the staff had already left for the evening and failed to respond when we continued to ask for assistance. Our flight arrived at midnight and at 2am my family was still not sure where we would be staying the next 3 days/nights. Taxi driver was awesome and found us a safe place to rest...
