Hotel Reina Isabel

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1001)
"This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and spacious, and had amenities like the large jacuzzi tub. It is safe and quiet. We go to Quito a lot, and we usually stay at a different hotel. Because of scheduling, we ended up trying this hotel instead. Hotel Reina Isabel is our new go to hotel."

. It is a stunning hotel that is cozy and quiet, even though it is set right in the middle of the city. "We loved Casa Gardenia, especially the kindness and friendliness of the
family
proprietors. We had a morning checkout prior to a midnight flight back to the US, but when I felt ill later (altitude plus maybe some suspect shrimp at dinner), they lent me a room, gratis, to lie down in all afternoon while the others went out in search of the Basilica and artisanal chocolate. Throughout our stays (we were here two weeks earlier on our way to the Galapagos), they were friendly, welcoming, and...
