"Torel Avantgarde was the perfect place for our trip to Porto. "The staff were fantastic! They went above & beyond in every aspect! The property is beautiful! Beds & linens are comfy. The breakfast buffet is outstanding! Loved the location with its proximity to everything we came to see in Porto! Walkable to everything! We enjoyed the rooftop bar! I highly recommend this property! My only complaint was the noise at night created by the bar area nearby. "

"The hotel was in a fantastic location right across from a metro stop, and a short walk to all the sights. The room was clean and excellent value for money. There were a few issues with the sink and shower not draining properly making them a bit hard to use, and there was a bit of road noise and noise from other guests as our room was right by the lift and at the front of the hotel by the road. Overall, a comfortable and clean hotel, I would recommend! "

"Wonderful location, easy to walk to restaurants etc. great views from Roof top Bar area. More care needs to be taken with signage in public spaces as floors have uneven surfaces and drop offs with no warning. I had a nasty fall on a wet marble floor…..no signage and still bruised badly and suffering with body pain and wounds. Staff were helpful and considerate but this should not happen. "

"A good size room, with large bath & shower, large comfortable bed, room on 1st floor - no noise, very good breakfast - great selection/options, all staff very helpful, very well equipped gym to accommodate all levels/needs. Good location for transport/train to airport. The restaurant meals however...very small portions (pasta dish) +50% for an average size portion. "
