There was a payment taken instead of it being held as a pending amount and when I asked about this at check out I was told I would definitely receive the refund however I have not after 2 weeks. "We spent 4 nights here. Room was clean and cleaning service was sound. Sheets and towels can be upgraded as there were minor wear and tear - most likely related to the age of the establishment. Bottled water can also be improved as it taste weird so we went for mineral water from the local supermarket. Super convenient location and walkable to all the main venues as a tourist in Melaka. "

"Staff is very helpful, The Nest House provides coffee, tea, noodles at a counter in the lobby. At first look, it doesn’t seem to have a lot to see around but we were wrong. In fact, you can walk to the old Dutch and Chinese quarters and shop all the way in huge shopping centers. Don’t hesitate to feed in local restaurants ! We add one more night at the hotel to visit."

We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive.
