"Spa Maya was utterly amazing and highly recommend to anyone looking for a very natural Spa Massage and experience. Mari and Virginia were so professional and nice! The resort staff generally were great aside from maybe 1 or 2 sour apples. Room service needs improvement bad. I do understand there will be a wait but pushing an hour of wait time is ridiculous, also if you need to take a late shower or bath, make sure you have all of your towels in the room as room attendance closes early. Restaurants were ok, our fave was the Bruschetta and open Buffet. The Kotatsu was horrible and so was the service from server, except for the host who I cannot remember his name but he worked 11/14 and he was so nice! The restaurants did a decent job in trying to accommodate Vegan options as we traveled with a person who was vegan. Suggestion, make sure more vegetarian and Vegan options are available in all restaurants. Night activities could use a little updating. Overall, we do plan on going again with our sisters because it was a great relaxing time. "

"We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with upgraded perks such as complimentary spa offers and discounts, a private pool and beach access and access to the adjoining resort facilities. We were pleased with the food at the a la carte options. However, accessing them was a logistical nightmare. The online access was down. This required guests to line up daily at 7:30 am to TRY to get a booking for that day. On our second last day, I was first in a line of 25, and was still unable to access any a la carte restaurant for that day. No one was able to book. There is no advance booking- I don’t understand the issue. It must be improved. One other concern was the use of artificial sweeteners in the bar mixes. We all ended up choosing non-choice drinks due to this practice- not only is it an unpleasant aftertaste, it causes migraines in one of our party. We switched to clear drinks like gin and tonic instead of delicious fancy drinks which was disappointing. The juice bar was a real treat, and we utilized it daily. We found the choices for vegetarians and healthy eaters were plenty. The crepe stand was a lovely choice, and the availability of cappuccino at most locations was a bonus. We enjoyed the evening activities and the entertainment and animation staff were wonderful and sometimes hilarious! The dancers in the Latin show were truly world class. Overall, with those small bits of feedback, it was an exceptional vacation and we will certainly try to return. "
