"Beautiful property. Very clean and fully stocked. The owner came to greet us and even kept a fresh bottle of milk for making tea or coffee. Since there were 5 of us, adequate bedding was provided to us. Overall an excellent experience "

"This is a great place to stay. My room and the whole house was spotless and very comfortable and cosy. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and I have yet to feel hungry, 9 hours later. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again. "

"Owner Mike is friendly and service and his breakfast cooking was good. One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024. Mike should install a lamp by the sign board where the instructions for the guests, to guide the guests to the instruction’s board, as the winter darkness make it challenging for us. "Such a magical place to stay for the nearby town. All of the Harry Potter filming locations were awesome to see and the town was so chill. There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

Great family night away

"We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "
