"We had a wonderful weekend here and can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful property lovingly restored. The owners were perfect hosts and the hotel and gardens are a calming oasis in the middle of town. We will try to visit Ghent again in a quieter time and will definitely head for the B&B The Verhaegen. "

"We had an amazing time here, such a lovely place and really warm despite it being winter! The breakfast was amazing, a basket of goodies to tuck into with all the required utilities in the kitchenette. Parking was great with an option for EV charging. The city centre was just 10 minutes away by foot and very easy to find. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay again."

"This lodging was ideal for a visit to Ghent. I picked it for its location (5 minute walk from StPieters train station but loved everything about it. Staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful.
