"Location was good. Quality of food (breakfast & dinner) very good. Service from most, but not all of the staff. Carpet in hallways definitely needs replacing. For the price should not be charged $1.50 for each extra coffee pods. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to transport guests to town, as it was about 30 minute to walk there on the boardwalk. "

"It was a fine apartment, very close to the best beach in Lagos and scenic boardwalk trails! We appreciated the location, having so much space to spread out, and extra towels for the beach. We read the reviews ahead of time and were prepared for the downsides: off-site reception, attached to a condemned building, difficult to navigate the very tight parking lot, a cold pool that had not been skimmed of bugs, and the hot tub not functioning. Perfect for families

"We are a family of 4 and booked a garden view apartment. We cooked in the apartment which is very well equipped. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a cliff over an amazing beach which is a 5 minute walk. There is a bar by the pool serving all sorts of food. Lagos is a 50 minute walk through the scenic route passing Ponta da Piedade/Praia do Camilo/Praia de Dona Ana, some of the “must see sites” in Algarve. You can also catch a bus to Lagos, stop is by the beach. Lagos is a beautiful town with loads of great restaurants and bars. Very safe and quiet during low/shoulder season, we were there in April. The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable sofa bed but not the worst I’ve seen. We loved the place and hope to be back soon. Highly recommended. "
