"The edge was nice, staff were helpful, breakfast was good, nice view from the window. Lovely views from the rooftop bar. I did think the bathroom was too cramped, and the beds and pillows a bit soft for my liking. Overall a very pleasant stay. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with modern rooms, coffee makers, and made service every day. To take advantage of the wonderful spa while you were there. I think the price is a little high, but it’s definitely worth it. My only observation negative is that it is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk to the shopping and restaurant areas. This may not sound far, but when it’s the dead of winter and dark outside, it is a consideration. Taxis in this city or quite expensive."

"I loved the hotel overall and its location in Tromso. Unfortunately, there was no electrical outlet near the bed for my Cpap machine and I had to run a cord all across the room to use it. A trip hazard and not comfortable. "

"This hotel was a perfect location for exploring the city of Tromso… Easy access to everything that you needed. Rooms were quite small, but we were able to manage just fine. Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful."

"Excellent location, comfortable room and bathroom, delicious breakfast, very friendly breakfast staff. But the reception staff was very bad. Not at all friendly or helpful, they seem tired and without any interest in their work. A shame, because it is a very good hotel."

"The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. However, given the price it lacked amenities you would normally expect such as tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Although out of town, the bus is regular from across the street and there are a fee shops and takeaways next door. The airport shuttle didnt turn up for me or my friend who were departing at different time so I would recommend the five minute walk to the bus station where buses to the airport...

"Pros: Location was 1 street behind main shopping street and around 5mins walk to nearest bus stops. Room was clean with heating, although windows allowed cold air to pass through. My friend found it cold but I thought it was ok under the duvet. Basic amenities included (towels, hair dryer, shampoo body wash). Staff was friendly and accommodating (we had to ask for new hair dryer and top-up of shampoo). Cons: room would be small for extended stay, but was ok for 3 days. If you visit in winter, please get shoes with ice grip! Many people were slipping everywhere. I had to take long detours just to avoid icy sidewalks."
