"Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range."

"Property is not found at 53 Riverside Road, Matale. Given phone is switched off but he answered on the previous day and asked us to come. According to him weather was ok but weather was terreble and came back home because no place to stay at the night. I had to block my card as well. The worst experience I have ever had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The place is serene and simply stunning. If you want to have a relaxing holiday, not doing much but hanging out by the swimming pool, cycling around rice fields, enjoying locally produced organic vegetable meals away from crowds of tourists and being attended to by friendly staff - here is your spot. It is in the midst of the nature so if you have limited tolerance to wild life, maybe reconsider, but I consider such place in this world today as a hidden gem. It was a perfect get away for us...

"We came to stay just for the bed. The staff were amazing and generous. Very accommodating. They organised tuktuk for Sigiriya Rock and Cave Temple and were willing to help in every possible way. Good food recommendations. Sadly we didn't get time for the pool which looked so inviting"

"全体的にはリラックスして過ごせる良いホテルだと思いますが、少しだけ気になった点もあります。部屋にゴミ箱、タオル類が置いてなかったこと、ホテルまでの道のりが夜は暗くて、野良犬がいて怖かったこと、それから、どこからか部屋の中に蚊が入って来て、夜は蚊に悩まされました。蚊の対策はなんとかやってほしいなと思います。その他は静かに過ごすことのできる落ち着いたホテルだと思います。プールもあるので、水着持参でプールで泳ぐのがおすすめかと思います。スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。良いホテルだが、今後の頑張りにさらに期待。"

"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

"It's the grounds that made me fall in love with this place. Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. Pure bliss! The hotel itself is close to the main highway, but tucked just far enough back from the road...
