"Spent one night here as stopover. Location is great with easy walking distance to Airport or Central station. Very modern and immaculate amenities. "Well run accommodation catering to the needs of early morning flight travellers. It does this very well. Clean bathrooms and room with ample sockets for devices handily located next to the beds. Early afternoon check in was much appreciated. Basic breakfast and ok coffee included from 3:30am. 5 mins easy walk to the airport security queue. AC wouldn't go below 23c. It switched itself off during the night so it was 27 when we woke up. The fan only worked when the light was on. It was quiet but...

"We booked the Relais storico hotel but then I was told that the hotel is closed because of the coronavirus measures. Therefore we were offered another room at Minerva hotel. "The room was a good size with good facilities: wifi, fridge and kettle. Well done. One problem was that all the sockets except one were Italian, rather than European, and the fridge, kettle and my laptop all needed the European socket! The breakfast service was atrocious. "An absolutely beautiful hotel and room. Only negative - there was no need to be encouraged to buy breakfast vouchers for a local restaurant. We bought too many and it would be better if they just advertised as breakfast not included. Or if they said the vouchers were to be used off site. I was under the impression that they were for use at the hotel and wasn't really given guidance on how many to buy. Otherwise this was our favourite hotel of the four we have stayed in on our tour of Italy."
