"Ocean Mist was the most fabulous experience ! We got such a warm welcome from the Captain at reception , he had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the boat’s history , lovely man . Beautiful cabin with an amazing bed and furnishings, everything was just perfect , we will be back !!❤️"

"Nice clean room with comfy mattresses at a good price. It was a bit further away from what we were there for than described. However ot was not excessivly so. Plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Will likely stay there again on our next visit "

"Edinburgh is very over priced when it comes to hotel rooms. I managed to get this room quite cheap so expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. All the things that you want to be good were good. VERY CLEAN (room and linen) although a shared bathroom, it was a very clean and spacious one. Very very friendly staff. The room furniture was dated a little, but judging a chest of drawers holds no point, as long as it is clean and not broken. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice place, have stayed multiple times, owners always welcoming and pleasant. rooms are a good size, beds decent enough but clean and linen smells nice. really takk 12ft ceilings, bathrooms are ok, water pressure strong and good hot shower with free soaps/gels.Nothing to complain about really, have only stayed in room 4 and 9, 4 had really nice stonework, 9 quite sparce, but had shutters on the windows and were nice and warm. parking is on street, it does have a 8.30am limit mon-sat and you...

"This hotel is in a lovely quiet spot on the edge of Kirkcaldy. It is peaceful, the room we were in was beautiful, luxurious and large. The food was delicious and we attended a function in a lovely room. The only thing missing from the hotel experience was a spa/swimming pool and gym. There looks to be enough space and it would entice me back!"

"The location of the hotel is very central and great! It’s near the Waverley train station which is a walking distance, and a lot of nearby tourist attractions. We were provided big and clean rooms. We can’t select different room types when booking via Expedia and had to raise this to the staff when we arrived and my request was accommodated so thank you!"

"Very nice stay.lovely dinner. Very good excellent service. Nice friendly chef. Good service in the bar. The owner is very nice and helpful, as the entire staff are.the bedroom was a good size,at the rear of hotel,no traffic noise.comfortable bed.great sleep. We will definitely stay there again."
