"We stayed here with another couple to celebrate my birthday, and we had a great time. It was close to the wineries, the guys played golf at Foxtail next door, while the girls visited downtown Healdsburg. It was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast in the restaurant was very good. "

"We decided to take a trip to the bay and didn’t want to have to get up super early to get there. So we spontaneously decided to find a hotel closer to sf than where we live, a place to stay without an extreme price. I would say that the price for this room was reasonable for what we got. I looked at a lot of available hotels in the area and this one has some of the best reviews, which are all fairly accurate from our experience. The best were so much comfortable then other places we’ve stayed, sheets were clean, pillows were nice. Clean bathrooms, decent amount of towels, soap, lotion, etc. The people at the front desk were so kind and provided great customer service. I don’t know if this is an all the time perk, but we received a complimentary drink at the bar, and a complimentary appetizer. We didn’t end up using them because we were really tired but I thought that was a really nice. I do feel I should include this interaction, it has nothing to do with the hotel and its staff. So take this with a grain of salt. When we first arrived and were walking to the elevator, three individuals came out of the elevator, stoped and looked at us and just stood there. We weren’t in their way at all, they acted as though they had never seen a man with a beard and a girl with tattoos. Granted they were older individuals, but they wouldn’t move, we had to say excuse me twice before they moved. Supper odd. Other than that all other guests were friendly. We will be come back and recommend!"

"When you drive up, the sense of Europe comes through a bit...then once you walk in, the vibe comes through even more...the staff were open and friendly, plus the approach is very person to person (not a corporate feel so many places have). My room was perfectly European vibe as well...a blend of classic chic with some modern touches. Bed was cozy, comfy. The decor all the way around, from outside to all of the inside...they had a theme in mind and not only captured it, but emulate it with interactions and service. Thanks for a fun, yet nicely quiet evening/night. "
