"Please note: the area around the property is safe at night. However it is a commercial area, so no tourist sights, no history, nothing to see, nothing to do, limited public transportation. You can eat out like in other parts of Penang, so no worries that you'll be forced to take all meals in the hotel. But otherwise is very much a check-in and sleep kind of place."

"The hotel is a bit old. The location is a bit off the center of George Town but still walkable if you don't mind. The swimming pool is on the small side. The rooftop restaurant is great. You can see the whole Geroge Town almost. There is a big night food court right next to the hotel where you can get all kinds of food for dinner. "
