"If you stay here, you must book a sea view balcony room….the ocean view day and night is beautiful…since it’s on a public beach, you sometimes get firework show from the locals too. The bed is so comfortable and enough room to sleep three. We had minor problems with a clogged sink and a broken shampoo dispenser but that was quickly resolved once we notified housekeeping (A on the response and even tidied up our bed). "Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! As a single traveler, I sometimes feel slighted, but definitely did not feel that here! And the grounds are gorgeous! Totally recommend room 263!! It has a balcony and monkeys came right to me every morning! "

"I thought it is a beautifully restored heritage site that brings you back to the times of old and nostalgia. They have a great breakfast buffet and set local dishes. Lovely garden and small pool in the mansion ground."

"Repeat customer. Third time back in his hotel but this time was a disappointment. I booked and paid on 27 DEC. Arrived at the hotel on 31 JAN receptionist said cannot find my booking because was booked last minute?? Wasted 20-25 mins and another receptionist-Mariyam or Mariah sorted out a room for me."

"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...
