Everything was good and well and we checked in early but we left our luggage with the concierge and went for shopping. The hotel reception was very friendly and helpful. They called and updated our room was ready and helped us to keep our luggage in the room. It’s a very nice hotel but one thing to improve on the quality of their breakfast & more options available. Will surely return again when we comes to Penang

Great hotel for family stay, and amazing breakfast buffet daily! Room was clean and nicely appointed. Great location for walking around. The only thing we didn't like as much were the very firm beds. We slept OK, but in an American chain hotel when I booked it I'd expected softer US standard beds not asia standard "hard" beds. Still a very nice hotel all around, highly recommended.

The pool was good and the room was comfortable and clean. The dining options were not as described at the time of booking, instead they only were offering an expensive buffet. They chose not to take payment from us on arrival but then sent us a letter the day before departure saying we had reached our credit limit and needed to come down to reception and pay our bill. We had ony spent about £50 on food and laundry. This seemed unnecessary given that we had offered to pay upfront on arrival and they had declined. Well air conditioned and the fitness rokm was small but ok as not busy when we went.

An excellent place to stay. Service staff were excellent and always helpful. My favourite dessert was the 3 flavours sorbet. Room service and kitchen are closed after 11pm though. Grab delivery is a great option as many eateries are on them. Swimming pool is decent and the gym while small has a decent view from a height. About 200 meters down the road there is an excellent dimsum shop near a red rock hotel. Do try it. Overall a good place to stay as the staff is excellwnt and the amenities are above average and well maintained.
