"Charming locale with funky decor made for a relaxing stay. The pousada is NOT for anyone who has only a few days to experience the excitement of Rio - it’s charm lies in being able to escape to a quiet island within the confines of a large metropolitan area. Great for couples or the solo traveler really wanting to get away from it all - not for kids or a party crowd. Fernanda was a great hostess!"

"Our stay at Hotel Nacional Rio de Janeiro OFICIAL proved to be great, we only wished we could have stayed longer. The ocean view from our room was utterly amazing. The suite was spacious and well designed. We spent a lot of time out in the town, however the highlight of our stay was phonmenal bartender named Wanderson, he took pride in service and even more in his cocktails. We would definitely recommend this property. "

"Nas fotos parece que o local, está novo. Mas, chegando ao local, percebemos que o quarto compartilhado não tem os armários como do jeito que estão nas fotos, ele é bem menor, muitos estão quebrados. Mas, num todo o hostel super me atendeu, o atendimento é maravilhoso, o chuveiro bem quentinho, cerca de uns 10 minutos da praia, com mercado ótimo de uma rede grande, bem localizado. Eu voltaria com certeza, mas talvez não ficaria em quarto compartilhado, pois não achei o quarto convidativo. "

"A estadia foi otima! Ainda fomos surpreendidas porque achamos que o apartamento tinha apenas um quarto mas são dois, otimo para viajar em grupos de 4 ou casais! Unica coisa que a internet do apartamento é pessima, mas no geral com certeza recomendo e voltarei mais vezes, fica a 2 quadras da praia e as redondezas são otimas e seguras para andar a pé!"
