"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "

"I stayed two nights in Castleton in mid-November amid some early snow which made the village and the walks around the hills stunning. But the real treat came after a long day of hiking when I was able to return to a cozy pub to have a hot meal, a pint of ale and a nice read by a roaring fire. The four-poster room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view over the hills and fields. Meal portions were generous and very delicious, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a cozy experience in a cozy local pub in the middle of Derbyshire, look no further than the Peak Hotel."
