"The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"Great staff all round at check in and checkout and breakfast was very good. A bit disappointed with the shower head, which came off during a shower and could have hurt someone. However the response was prompt and it was fixed with a sincere apology. I love staying here and will def stay here again. "

"Excellent economical apartments in a very walkable part of manchester. It's attached to the Corn Exchanged and the restaurants/bars within almost function like part of the hotel. Staff quite good, a little casual. Issues with TV/remote in room and no chopping board provided in kitchen."

"Beautiful location, with an easy mostly flat walk to the heart of the city and its attractions. And after a day of hectic shopping and touring, look forward to returning to this safe and comfortable place for a recharge. There is a gym on the 4th floor of you aren't walked out yet. There is a basement carpark but has to be booked and costs GBP 15 a day"

"Very centrally located and comfortable room. I was late booking so ended up above the bar space next door and on the main street. This made it a bit noisy...but to be expected in a city centre. "

"Good convenient location in heart Sheffield. Stayed before, when new so looking a bit tired now. A great room with good facilities mini kitchen etc. Very comfortable, could be noisy as room this time on street level. But luckily a quiet street in Sheffield and a quiet Saturday night. "

"Phoned when was outside the building and someone came out to meet me, explained the parking and showed me up to the apartment too. Excellent location with secure parking beneath. The apartment was clean, bright and well equipped. A few unexpected extras were tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid, washing powder, tea and coffee which was handy. Also local Coop, cafes and places to eat very close by. Great - thanks!"

"I had a great stay at Charles Hope townhouse. This is a great location with the train available to travel to Old Trafford for a football game or making our way to the central retail district. Overall the property was clean, however had a few minor defects: - towel with holes and stain on them - mild stains on the bedsheet - stain on the carpet near the bed - washer detergent feeder has a lot of residue from previous stay. - dish washer has residue from previous stay - it had a funky smell when...

"The staff were very helpful on check in. Called to give directions and then met us outside to show us in and how to use the key fobs etc Only negative was there wasn’t a frying pan or any salt/pepper. "

"Rather disappointing. Lots of space in this apartment style hotel but fittings were basic and everything rather 'tired'. Online check-in a real trial and rather pointless. Not much in the immediate area although only a 10 minute walk to Salford quays. Take care with security. My motorcycle was stolen 5 minutes after I arrived while checking in. Owners very unhelpful re. CCTV.... I know the theft wasn't the hotel's fault - just advising care in the surrounding area."

"Ive stayed at thia property a number of times over the last 5 years or so - mainly because it is so central, yet reasonably priced. However,i have really noticed massive upgrades in the way the hotel has been managed in my last two stays, and improvements in the general standards of decor etc - though it remains affordale and good value for money. "
