"Second time staying here. Good value for money, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Beds and pillows comfortable, nice and warm in the rooms and hotel itself Rooms could do with a freshen up with paint and small maintenance to windows and walls. Remote control filthy, batteries flat. Tea and coffee facility which is good. Shower pressure average but overall good value, fairly clean, good breakfast variety Would definitely come back "

"We have stayed here before for the location which is perfectly situated near all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and warm and has everything needed like an iron, hairdryer, kettle, tea/coffee etc. A mini fridge in the room would make the stay extra special. The staff are always pleasant and professional and helpful. The breakfast which is at the sister hotel The George, has a lovely choice and delicious food. "What an amazing fined, a random decision for a couple of nights away for the new year. What a quirky place, fantastic staff amazing breakfast and there main menu all at great prices. Ciarian, went out of his way, service with a smile, along with Ben and the manager Thank you for a lovely stay highly recommend you and hopefully we will return in the summer. "

"Great hotel for a night before using Stansted Airport. Lovely welcome from the reception team. Very dog friendly. Good room, nice and spacious. Lots of hot water. The sofa bed was a little lumpy. Can't comment on breakfast as we departed before it opened. Would recommend for the price and would happily return. "

"A great place to stay. Very friendly and helful staff. Easy parking just on the oither side of the road, lovley building and tastefully decorated comfortable rooms. Didn't dine in for dinner as we were in a rush but the dining area looked fantastic and the menu looked great. Would highly recommend a stay here."
