"This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again."

"I've been staying here on visits for the past five years and the experience has always been a good one. I had a small suite located at a corner of the building and could see the Himalayas out both windows whenever the weather was clear enough. "Things I like most about this hotel is the hospitality from the staff. Those staff in front desk are always smiling, I never seen them in a bad attitude. The roof top restaurant and food is really good. It is because of the staff and their Nepali hospitality from their heart, I keep on coming back to stay in Vivanta."
