"クーネオ駅に正午くらいに着き、タクシーでホテルに着きましたが、空いてない。家族経営のホテルとあったので、誰かいるかなと思って窓を叩くも、応答なし。チェックインの際は電話してとあるが、通信手段がない私にとってはなすすべもない。たまたま隣の方がでてきたので、思いきって声をかけ、ホテルの人を呼び出してもらいました。すぐに来てくれて対応してもらいました。チェックインのときに朝食を食べるかと聞かれ、食べるとこたえ、お金も払い、場所も教えてもらいました。次の日朝食会場は開いておらず、イタリアってこんなとこなんだと諦めていたら、系列のホテルで朝食を採れることの表示を見たのは、近くのバールで食べて帰ってきてからでした。不親切というより、イタリア語ができるとなんでもない問題なんだろうと諦めました。"

"From the outside, this residential building presents an uninteresting proposition. Its a little hard to find, but Google maps will take you to the roght place. There is a small sign with B and B SANROCK by the door. Inside, the room is charming...freshly decorated in a modern sryle with neutral blues and grey, with modern design sink, taps and shower. " We have just returned from a girlie weekend away to Menton and I cannot recommend the town or the hotel enough. It's just fabulous. The town is a beautiful mix of old and new, French and Italian. The hotel is clean, modern and spacious and the staff were just fab; nothing was too much trouble. The location is great, just across the road from the beach and promenade and just a few minutes walk from Menton Garavan station which made travelling from Nice airport super simple. We even managed a day in Italy as it is just one stop along the train line. If you're looking for someone along the Cote D'azur to visit, Menton is a must and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hotel Napoleon for your stay. X"
