"What you would expect from a mountain resort. Front desk and country store closes at 8 PM and the nearest food options (not great) are about 40 mins away. Buy some ramen from the store and spare yourself a drive. "

"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"This is a nice little gem by Sequioa. We were able to sit out and star gaze at night after a long day of hiking. Breakfast is also great."

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

"It was a nice quiet stay, the owners live in the property, but they stay in their house, they didn't bother us. The property was clean and our kids had fun, they had board games, and toy provided, and a trampoline outside that our kids were allowed to used"

"The communication and hospitality from the host was impeccable! The neighbors were friendly and helpful and we had access to so much that made the stay enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add curtains to the front windows (there were field trip kids that passed by a few times a day and waved in - which was delightful! once I realized that I should probably put on a robe :/) We will definitely stay again - thank you!! "We were impressed by how clean and well stocked the house is, a great option for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. It’s 40 minutes to General Grant Tree. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. It is a large house and easily accommodated our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay"
