"Enjoyed my stay at Indavesa in Calca. The room was comfortable and clean, shower was hot, and the included breakfast was simple yet adequate. I felt it was a good value stay and would visit again. The location is close to the main square in calca with restaurants and local culture to enjoy, also close to the market. Calca is beautiful, check it out if you haven’t already!"

"Everything from beginning to end was the BEST ever! Checked me in late at night with ease. Room was so clean and comfortable. Had a balcony to the beautiful mountains. In the morning there was organic coffee and breakfast homemade. Went to a beautiful waterfall hike just 15 mins away. So accommodating and great communication. I don’t want to leave, but definitely will be back!"

"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"I had an exhilarating one of kind unique adventurous experience as a first time solo woman traveler in an uncharted Antanuca mountains . I am so so so grateful for staff Carlos and Jairo , who made me feel safe , welcomed and took very good care of me .They are very observant of what I need and how I was feeling with high altitude sickness in a very windy December 29th , 2024 season . I stayed in the dome and had the unique experience of as if Clinging to the cliffs of Antanuca Mountain, deep in the Andes. I love it there. The mountains gave me a sense of peaceful retreat elevated my core confidence to 3.0, I vow to return in summer so I can experience the beauty of Milky Way , Star gazing , and hopefully I have enough courage to sleep in one of the capsules where the staff harness the guest in and out of this luxury suites in the sky . I have come to know staff Carlos’ work ethics and have trusted him for my safety and wellbeing. EXCELLENT in ALL ASPECTS, staff , food are so exquisitely cooked and presented. The domes are warm and cozy . "

Beautiful mountain resort in the sacred valley

"This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend this place over many pricier hotels and would definitely stay here again. "

Exceptional hotel

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience at Hotel Samanapaq! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made me feel right at home. The lush, tranquil gardens surrounding the property were an oasis of serenity—a perfect escape after exploring the magical streets of Ollantaytambo. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I have in years! The complimentary breakfast was a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients—each bite a delicious start to the day. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect! It’s just a short walk to the town center, yet it feels tucked away in its own peaceful world. The staff went above and beyond, offering fantastic tips for exploring the area and making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. If you’re visiting the Sacred Valley, staying at Hotel Samanapaq is an absolute must. It’s not just a hotel; it’s an experience I will cherish forever. I can’t wait to return!"

"What an amazing place! The Stardome is beautiful, both the structure itself and the gorgeous property it is located on. We stayed in the Puma room which had a beautiful view over the valley below, looking straight out at the mountains. The room was cozy and luxurious, with a great bathroom too. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and had an awesome garden below the window where we could watch exotic hummingbirds. Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy on the one night that we stayed so we didn’t see any stars, but we did get to listen to the sound of raindrops hitting the dome and saw some cool lightning. The road up is a quite crazy, but our driver handled it well. It is near Ollantaytambo town…about a 25 minute drive or so. Really cool place to stay and worth stopping for a night or two! We stayed on our way to Machu Picchu. "
