The variety of onsen baths was great, each one unique and beautiful. The futon beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. "Great value. We probably visited during the off peak season as the entire area was quiet. The hotel is conveniently located by the lake with a supermarket just down the street and a shuttle bus which brings guests to and from Otsu station. Rioms were clean and we got upgraded to a bigger room which was good for our family. View from the room was great too!"

"We request for a room with private onsen.They accomodate our request for halal dinner and breakfast. Transport provided to/fro the hotel which is convenient. They also made up our bed while we had our dinner"

"Loved having a drawer of kimonos to choose from to wear for our stay! The room was wonderful and we saw the beautiful sunrise from our bed. It was really a special experience. The private bath on our balcony was so nice and relaxing. The staff is super, very well trained and attentive. They make you feel special from the moment you walk in with a snack and a drink. We purchased some quality souvenirs from the gift shop. The half board is a grand experience. The onsens are unforgettable. I went early and had the whole place to myself."
