"Great hotel. Great location. Party of 3. Checkin and checkout was very easy. Keyless and automated checkin and and checkout but if there is an employee in the front lobby, they will be there all day. Very helpful as well. Family mart nextdoor outside. Only con is only 2 laundry machines in basement floor and they dont work very well. Went to a laundry place down the block. "This hotel has the perfect blend of modern and traditional elements. The space in the room was plentiful and very clean. The wooden tub really made the experience much better especially at the end of the night while soaking in it. "Apartment was very nice and well equipped. Having a space away from the kids was a bonus."

"Poor customer service upon check in. We were 20 minutes early for a 3pm check in time and were not permitted in. Crazy when previous hotel allowed check in three hours earlier. Even respecting the 3pm check in time, it was the rudeness of staff that set a bad tone for the stay. "Enjoyed our stay especially the bathroom. It is quiet where we stayed about 13 minute walk to station to get to the sites/attractions. They had a convinnie near by and some restaurants. It was a bit away from attractions but totally doable. "

"The Blossom at Kyoto is a gem of a place to stay within walking distance of the Gojo subway station. The hotel is very elegantly styled, offers incredible service and has an amazing onsite restaurant (Kyoto Gojo Ono) which serves steaks which will melt in your mouth. We stayed in a triple room with 3 beds and it was surprisingly spacious for a Kyoto hotel. The furnishings were very moderns with a tatami mat space and elegant Japanese minimalist style. There were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel including quick fast food options. It was an excellent experience for all of us and my teen daughter loved the place."

"We had a great experience staying at Yumotokan. The dinner was exceptional (very filling!) and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The variety of onsen baths was great, each one unique and beautiful. The futon beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Loved our stay and would highly recommend to other travellers hoping for a ryokan experience that isn’t breaking the bank! "
