"Property itself was great and spacious. The check-in instructions were a little confusing, but we were able to check in and check out without much trouble. The only problem was communicating if we needed anything - we ran out of body wash and we left a note on our door because staff would come by and collect garbage and old towels. "This charming inn is an excellent accommodation for families. With two bedrooms, our family of five enjoyed a comfortable and spacious stay. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a second-floor bathroom, which meant we needed to descend to the ground floor each time we required restroom facilities. Despite this small drawback, the inn was otherwise exceptional and met all our needs perfectly."

"This was a good stay! Only issues my friends and I had was that it was a small location, ideal for two people obviously squeezing a third person was like playing Tetris with the Futons and the floor space. Another issue was that the futons were stained with something and considering one of my friends is pretty much germaphobic she didn’t really enjoy that aspect of the stay. Other than that great place, staff was courteous. And the places to walk to was plentiful!"

"I wanted to experience living in a traditional machiya in Kyoto and this beautifully renovated machiya was perfect. They've done an amazing job keeping most of it's original features, but added a modern twist to it, giving it a wonderful aesthetic. I was expecting the machiya to be freezing cold without turning on the heater due to machiyas having poor insulation, but it wasn't cold at all with the heater off.
