Top Old Sacramento Waterfront Hotel Reviews
Hyatt Regency Sacramento
10/10 Excellent
"Upscale hotel with updated facilities. Pool area was a bit cramped, but was well maintained."
"The care the staff show makes a difference. I was asked what brought us to town and I told them I was here celebrating my birthday. The receptionist excused herself and came back shortly saying that they would like to upgrade us to a suite for my birthday! That was such a nice thing to do, and they've earned a customer for life. There were so many things to do and see in Sacramento that I want to keep coming back. The hotel is older, but it is kept up and has what you need. There is a hot tub, pool, gym, and free continental breakfast. The ladies working the breakfast room were all smiling and wanting to help you find what you wanted and were making waffles for anyone who wanted them. Everyone there just seemed happy to be there for you. The bed was perfect. Not too soft, not a flimsy mattress. It was the first time I've been able to sleep in a hotel bed. It also had the most reasonable price in the area. I'm completely satisfied with my stay. Thanks to everyone who made it that way. "
"We liked most things about this hotel. Nice view of the Sacramento River. Easy walk to Old Town Sacramento. Clean room. Very nice shower.
Did not care much for the Pilothouse, the on site restaurant. Way overpriced for very plain breakfast. Bland eggs Benedict for $25 and $15 for a bowl of oatmeal that was nothing special.
We will return to the hotel, though, for the beautiful and quaint accommodations and location. Just not the restaurant."
"Great room and really good price. The staff was attentive. The room was clean and it was nice and quiet at night. It is in a convenient location right off of the freeway. My only concern is not in the property or staff's control. "
"Don't remember who was at the desk Thursday evening when we checked in, but he was fantastic. He made us feel welcome and valued and sincerely wanted to help us have a great experience in and out of the hotel. High marks."
A Californian icon and a feat of engineering, this is Sacramento’s most photographed bridge. Its golden frame is especially striking when lit up at night.
