Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. "What an amazing way of making the Shimanimi Kaido Route more enjoyable. Don’t ever doubt it and split your route in two days just to enjoy the place. Amazing rooms (it looks great in photos but the rooms are even better once you are there), BEAUTIFUL facilities and onsen with carefully curated design and really helpful staff."

"Stayed here for three nights. Excellent, helpful, polite and enthusiastic staff. Great value and great location for exploring the bike trails at own pace. I receieved lots of help over email prior to arrival to help plan the logistics of my trip. If I were to return to Shinamani Kaido, I would definitely consider staying here again. "

"Business man’s hotel I suppose. Right across from Mihara Station. Small room but well laid out and spotless. Young man at desk was very jolly and hospitable on my arrival. No view, wall of another building but it was dark when I got there and sleep was all I craved. Desk stored my bags for me after check out as I’d planned to visit Buttsuji Temple but I missed the early bus and couldn’t wait till afternoon for the next so I took a walk down to the port. "Nice mountain resort hotel with a view of the lake. Check in was easy and room was large. We had half board - food was good but probably due to communication problem, we were not served Japanese-style dinner like the local tourists. However breakfast was Japanese. No Rain No Rainbows

"Stayed here after biking the Shimanami Kaido. Bags were waiting in my room thanks to the same delivery service from Onomichi. Rode straight to the hotel cause it rained for half the route and I got soaked. Reception didn’t bat an eye at my condition and welcomed me graciously and efficiently. Room had signs of wear and tear but was clean and spacious. King sized bed and room for another! Got cleaned up and then returned my bike to Imabari station which, be aware is quite a way in to the city after the last bridge crossing. @500 taxi ride back to the hotel from there and I passed out. Have not had a noisy hotel yet in my week in Japan and no exception here. Viking Style breakfast included. Quick checkout and nice walk to the station. Dino Arigato and Mahalo to the Kokusai for your hospitality "
