"Business man’s hotel I suppose. Right across from Mihara Station. Small room but well laid out and spotless. Young man at desk was very jolly and hospitable on my arrival. No view, wall of another building but it was dark when I got there and sleep was all I craved. Desk stored my bags for me after check out as I’d planned to visit Buttsuji Temple but I missed the early bus and couldn’t wait till afternoon for the next so I took a walk down to the port. Ferry to nearby islands in the Seto Island...

"A museum by Tado Ando changed for the right reasons into a hotel far away from no where... the air conditioning is so loud that makes you very uncomfortable sleeping with it’s grilling sound. If you’re a golfer, heavy sleeper and wished to stay a night in a museum that’s the place to be"

"After a day biking in down pouring rain, the staff greeted me with hot tea and offered to bring me a meal to my room. The tent was cozy and peaceful and the facilities were extremely clean, modern and well designed. This is one of the most special stays I’ve ever experienced and I hope to come back again.
