"Esperas is a beautiful Santorini escape nestled away from the crowded streets but close enough to all the main attractions. Located on the western end of the city of Oja, it’s perfectly situated to watch evening sunsets from your room, your private veranda or from the multi tiered pool area. The service was impeccable with amazingly attentive young people from Athens who were friendly and extremely helpful. I have to also commend the porters who carry your luggage up and down multiple steps to navigate the narrow streets from the car area to the hotel and back. I only had one minor complaint which is the beds are a bit too firm for us, but given how the room was designed in an Ancient Greek tradition without normal bed frames, I am still very happy with our selection and would give Emperas 5 stars. "

"This property is not what I was expecting. Once you get your ride from the port / airport, you get dropped off at the post office and walk from there. You walk through the caldera going up and down narrow lane ways and steep stairs. The experience is definitely authentic! It was the most unique place I’ve ever stayed at. Views are incredible. Staff is great and very helpful. Very expensive (as expected for the area) but the drinks and food are actually cheaper if you stay at the hotel bar/restaurant. We would come back if we ever come to Santorini again! "
