"Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Buko Beach Resort. The rooms are lovely and pool area great for sunset views. There were a lot of mosquitos when we stayed but the hotel does provide mosquito coils for the outside shower and toilet area and mosquito repellent. The resort is close to some excellent restaurants, notably Cala, Chabacano and Bela Vita. "This is a great spot for meeting fellow travelers and organizing tours from. Like others have said, definitely a party hostel with free drinks from 7-11 pm. The private room bed we had was pretty hard, so a little rough sleep. Breakfast and coffee included in your stay. When we arrived at night Win and Pao welcomed us so well and they offered us fresh coconut juice. The bedrooms are very comfortable, kitchen has complete utensils, bathroom is very clean. "Well what can I say - this place is fabulous - we were treated like a prince and princess from the moment we arrived. Imagine how you feel approaching a resort with everyone standing waving and waiting for your boat to bring you to shore! Cold towels and a beautiful drink to welcome you. "I like a lot the beach and the position, the care and attention by the working team and the excursions to the nearby islands that I believe it is a must should you are getting there from far away. The restaurant is a bit expensive compare to shore ones (but it is also an island and logistic cost) and the excursions are a bit expensive but they were private ones and we really had a good time and enjoyed them all."
