"Great hotel, location and brilliant staff! Room upgraded on arrival which was great, plenty of parking behind the hotel. Room amenities very good including the iPad to send messages to reception/order food. Breakfast was one of the best."

"A few days’ break during half term. The hotel is great for Norwich City fans, we had great fun watching the ground staff working to get the pitch ready for the next game as our room overlooked the pitch! Easy walk to the Riverside restaurants and facilities and just a hop over the road to Morrisons for a snack. Not far into the city centre either. The car parking is a little confusing on first arrival but was fine one we knew which area to use. Not sure what it would be like on a match day...

"Absolutely brilliant 4 * hotel just three miles from the centre of Norwich, charging about a third less than the equivalent city centre hotels (and the same price as the very basic city centre Travelodge / Premier Inns). We paid just £10 a night more for the superior double which was well worth it. Very spacious with extra seating. "Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. No one on reception when we got there on Friday Dec 27th but after ringing a phone number and leaving a message we were greeted by the owners son. We were asked if we wanted a meal that night or breakfast in the morning which we didnt need. It would have been nice to visit the bar on Friday pm but we found it closed at 9:45pm when we tried to visit it. Maybe it would be open later a different day or in the summer. A pleasant stay if you want to stay in your room."

"We came from the Midlands to attend the funeral of an old friend and colleague. The hotel was really convenient for the Church service and we found out that the family had in fact chosen it for the after funeral venue. Our stay was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was superb. Choices were very difficult to make for dinner because they were so varied and when served they certainly did not disappoint.
